(Ranger), a woman-owned business located in Rome, was established in 1995 as a geotechnical and environmental drilling firm with emphasis on Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)-related projects.  Ranger offers professional geotechnical, environmental and pavement engineering services.  We are certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with GDOT, MARTA, and DeKalb, Chatham and Fulton Counties.  Ranger has successfully completed hundreds of geotechnical drilling and pavement coring projects, which includes local and interstate highways, bridges, retaining walls, soil surveys, cellular towers, airports, mining facilities, power substations and towers, industrial and commercial buildings, water treatment plants, transit systems, pipelines and water towers.  Ranger is pre-qualified with GDOT to provide geotechnical and environmental services in the following areas:
